The AOS congress has increasingly become one of the important ophthalmology congresses that connect ophthalmologists and related health personnel in Southeast Asian region. It provides delegates a unique platform of networking, allowing them to brainstorm and tackle eye problems in this region where the problems are both the same as and different from the rest of the world.

The congress also wants to empower our young in-training generation of ophthalmologists by providing them the great opportunity of attending international meeting of ophthalmology and making new friends from various countries for future collaboration.

Since it is located in Siem Reap, where the well-known ancient city, one of the Seven Wonders of the World in ancient time, Angkor Wat, is located. The delegates could enjoy vibrant history and discover various beauties of the ancient temples in the city, along with warm welcome form the local residents.
