GTMP in Cambodia (Global Trachoma Mapping Project) is starting from 19 May 2014 with cooperation of NPEH : National Program Eye Health/Ministry of Health and health partners ( WHO, USAID, FHI 360).

The objective of the research:
The population-based prevalence survey objective is to map trachoma throughout the country in order to assess progress towards the elimination of trachoma and inform strategic planning in Cambodia. Mapping includes:
Undertake population-based prevalence surveys using the province as the evaluation units.
The structure of the research team :
1. Administration staffs: 5 from FHI 360
2. Recorder staffs: 10 (FHI 360)
3. Graders : 10 ( Ophthalmic Nurses in special training )
4. Supervisors : 2 Doctors in special training
5. Data processing /Management and Approval: 1 Doctor
Note: All the Graders and Field supervisors had a special training inside and outside country.
- All of them were sent to training in Ethiopia
- All of them had short one week training in Battambang with Trachoma expert from WHO

The first examined -EU Battambang
There are 14 EUs (Evaluation Unit ) that each EU had 39 clusters and one cluster there is 30 Household and one household has at least one children age 1-9 years olds
From the start until now were complete examined of 13 EU14 , One EU Moudulkiri not yet finish

Follow of the research plan it will finish on middle March 2015.
